Midmar 2018

Natalie Steyn is raising funds for Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife

I have always been an avid swimmer and passionate about wildlife - so what an amazing opportunity to combine the two by raising funds for the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Trust by swimming the Midmar 8 mile!

Did you know?

  • From Jan to July, 142 rhinos have been poached in KZN alone
  • Many times, orphaned rhinos are left for dead after their parents are brutally slain by poachers. Ezemvelo takes these orphans in and provides care until they are ready to be released into their natural habitat, which may take several years!
  • In 2012, the government stopped funding Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife. This forced self-sufficiency has had many implications for the organisation as well as the animals under its care. In a time where poaching is the norm and funding is crucial, Ezemvelo needs each and every one of us to make a conscious effort in conserving our beautiful country and its creatures...

They say two are better than one, and it would be great if you could help me reach my goal of R10 000 to save the rhinos - every little bit helps and I urge you to donate your coins to see real change... Together we can make an immense difference!
