The world has been turned on its head by an invisible adversary. This had devastating effects on organisations caring for the vulnerable. CHOC is one of those organisations who continue to serve those in need and I am privileged to again be a part of their Charity 8 Swimming Group.
Although COVID-19 has shown us some ugly realities, it has also opened to door to beautiful opportunities to give and serve others. And we have all learned from this – each one of us has at least a few 2020 lessons we’ll carry with us for years to come.
I, for one, have learned to stay committed. To keep swimming, so to speak. What an honour to yet again do this to raise awareness and money for children living with cancer.
Thank you for your donation – every little bit - no matter how small – helps CHOC to keep up their incredible work.
