I started swimming Midmar Miles in 2016 (grade 6) and have swum for the school team most of my school career. I used to sit under the 8 mile tents as a supporter and always said that I would like to accomplish this challenge one day. With last year not being able to swim many people's goals were put on hold, however, 2022 is looking promising! I am fortunate enough to be taking on this challenge of swimming a total of 8 miles during the Midmar Mile “weekend”. This entails me swimming each of the 8 events over two days to raise funds for my selected charity: Save the Rhinos.
