Viki van den Barselaar-Smith is raising funds for Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation

Swimming shaped my life and now I have the chance to help shape someone else's - all for the love of water. It is a privilege to be swimming with the 8 Mile Club in pursuit of raising funds for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation: a team of passionate individuals who teach water safety and swimming skills to our youth. We live on a dangerous coastline in KZN, and every year we lose young lives to senseless drownings. This challenge has driven me simply by the thought of the difference I can make; every mile will be worth it. Your donations will be hugely appreciated, and you know that every little bit will count to saving a life. R10 000 to go and counting...thank you everyone for your incredible support!
