I have had a few friends who have had to walk the cancer journey with their children. As a mother with 2 healthy sons, I can't imagine how they managed. I am honoured to be able to swim and raise money for CHOC and assist them in providing support to those in need.
I have been training hard, appreciating my health, time, and the companionship of other swimmers.
I swim because it gives me the mental gap to escape the daily worries of life. I enjoy keeping fit and challenging myself. But most of all, I love to watch the dance of light as it plays on and in the water!
