Annually it is my privilege to take part in the MIDMAR 8 MILE SWIM in order to raise funds for Charity and in particular CANSA Active. On the 9th and 10th of February 2023, the MIDMAR MILE celebrates its 50th anniversary and will once again afford us the opportunity of giving back to those who are less fortunate than we are. According to the WHO (World Health Organization) Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for nearly 10 million deaths a year. The MIDMAR MILE and CANSA Active gives you the opportunity to play a role in supporting the educational campaigns on lowering cancer risk and our holistic care & support to those affected by cancer. GOOD NEWS…….RELAX…… I will swim the 8 MILES, all I appeal for is your generous support by way of a monetary donation. The smallest of contributions can help save a life.
