This is my 8th, 8 Mile, Swimming and raising funds for Pink Drive.  It is a great privilege to part of this awesome team who promote awareness and detection of related cancers for the general public of South Africa.  In addition taking on the "big swim" makes one aware of the challenges that face family and friends during trying times.  The effort in raising funds, training and then actually swimming is small in comparison.
