Well this seems a little nuts. After completing nine 8 Miles over the years, I decided to do something crazier for my 10th year. In 2024 I will be swimming 16 miles over 2 days - double my previous efforts.
12km a day will not be easy by any stretch (for me). I am not only doing this as a challenge for myself, I have the opportunity to raise funds for an amazing charity Happy Bundles that helps children and their families affected by cancer. I briefly met them at previous Midmar events and I am very happy to be fundraising for them this year.
As usual, any amount is hugely appreciated. Those R50's will add up. Please donate over the next few weeks to keep me training. I will be remembering every donation with every tired stroke on 8 and 9 Feb.
