Dearest friends and family,

In 2019 and 2020 myself, my father and my boyfriend had the opportunity to participate in the 8-Mile challenge, I absolutely fell in love with the event, both being apart of an amazing organization who helps change countless lives and then event itself, challenging you as swimmer mentally and physically. Unfortunately in 2022 tragedy struck and I lost my boyfriend. We used to share our love for swimming and participated in countless Midmar miles together.

In honour of his love for the sport and the event we decided to embark on yet another 8-Mile challenge for him in February 2025. In order to make the event successful we each have to raise a minimum of R 10 000, this fully goes directly to our chosen charity.

My chosen charity, Happy Bundles, holds a great meaning to me, as a teacher, my life and passion revolves around children. With your help the funds raised will be a blessing to each little child with cancer, to brighten their days with some spoils.
