Helpless. It’s the feeling that overwhelms me whenever I hear the word cancer. To turn that feeling into action, I’ll be participating in the Midmar Mile 8-Mile Charity Challenge in 2025 to raise funds for CANSA, a non-profit dedicated to fighting cancer. Their mission is to enable research, educate the public, and advocate for and support all those affected by cancer.
I’ll be swimming for the little girls and boys with parents battling cancer, for the moms and dads striving to support their families and partners, for those facing the struggle alone, for the doctors, nurses, and everyone involved in the care of those affected by cancer. And most importantly, I’ll be swimming to honour those who fought but lost.
Your support is hugely appreciated and will make a meaningful impact. Join me in making a difference.
