My first Midmar Mile dates back to 1988 when I was just a young lad. Now 37 years later, I'm trying on my first Midmar 8 Mile Challenge in an effort to catch up on the miles I have missed, but more importantly to raise funds for the Childhood Cancer Foundation (CHOC)!
Cancer is a disease that has touched all in some way, whether through friends, family or loved ones. It's crucial that we continue to support the fight to find a cure and provide care for those affected.
Every donation, no matter how small will help make a difference in someone's life. I hope that through this challenge, the funds raised will contribute to ongoing research and support for those battling this disease. Who knows when we, or someone close to us might need that support ourselves.
Let's come together for this important cause! Please donate and help make a difference. Together, we can fight cancer.
