1 in 10 lives in Southern Africa are lost to drowning. Drownings are not restricted to pools but also happen largely in puddles of water, rivers, unattended buckets and holes that fill with water during rains and the ocean currents. These deaths are avoidable by teaching youth, adults and communities how to behave around these water bodies and how to remove incidental dangers of water around us. Your valuable contribution will allow this training and awareness to continue in our communities. Thank You!
Anyone who donates R500 and upwards will be entered into a lucky draw to win a weekend for a family of 8 at Terence's precious holiday farm, Valhalla, near Mooi River. Breathtaking views, serenity, open skies and just a relaxing time!!!! Winners will be announced at Midmar's last event.
