Charity 8 Challenge 2025

Wayne Riddin is raising funds for CANSA

After getting married to Michelle on the Gold Coast on 3rd January, I’m trying to make 2025 a more memorable year by also swimming the 8 Miles at the aQuelle Midmar Mile, raising funds for CANSA and Frankie Says! Michelle lost her mom to cancer in 2013, same year my brother Alwyn passed away after so many years of helping me at Midmar. Then last year August I lost my best friend Frank who announced with me at the finish, so I’m swimming in memory of them as well as the many others who are no longer with us - Buthy Arbuthnot, Jack Haskins, Dea Slattery, Lorna Cochran and the many more who supported the event! Please support this good cause by donating funds to the Kydrin site - thanks to Chad Gifford for giving me that inspirational challenge despite the organisational challenges that go with it!
