Singakwenza, meaning “We can do it!”, is a non-profit organisation based in Kwa-Zulu Natal which builds sustainable Early Childhood Education programmes in economically disadvantaged communities, using recycling to make educational resources. Early Childhood Education is essential in laying the foundation for the rest of a child’s schooling. By investing in the learning of pre-schoolers, you’re providing them with a strong base on which the rest of their development and education will be built.
This February, I’ll be taking on the challenge of my first Midmar Mile, a 1,6 km open water swim, to raise funds for Singakwenza. To support the future leaders of our beautiful country please make a donation towards this awesome organisation. My goal is to raise R 1600 before the event. This will provide at least 10 children with Singakwenza's Early Education programme for a month. No donation is too big or too small!!
If you’re not able to assist financially, please just take a moment to look at Singakwenza’s website (www.singakwenza.org) and then tell all your friends, family and everyone you know about the work that they’re doing.
Thank you!!! You’re all champions.
