Pauline Bowman Edgar is raising funds for PinkDrive

Having shared the devastating change in some of my close friends lives through breast cancer has opened my eyes as to what they have had to go through.. Early detection has saved their lives - however the emotional and physical results of breast canceer must be another of the crosses that woman have to bear. Continuous research has enabled these ladies to cope far better than they would have 10 years ago. This is what Pink Drive is about! Imagine living in a rural town with no access to support or treatment. Pink Drive now send vehicles into these areas - offering free mammograms, support and early detection awareness. I am so very grateful that my body is still strong enough to be able to complete the 8 mile swim and that in doing so - I can contribute in a small way to assist.
