Midmar 2017

Jessica Picas is raising funds for Singakwenza

I started swimming Midmar Mile in high school (as a school tour) and continued to do so after school. Having swum 10 times, I thought it was time to try something new. Nati and I learnt about the 8 Mile Club through a hockey friend who had done it and really enjoyed it. I absolutely loved the idea of swimming for charity and so here we are. I have so enjoyed being apart of the Singakwenza Charity and it was great to meet and get to know Julie Hay. I have a huge amount of respect for the organisation and what they are trying to achieve! Nati and I hosted a barnyard evening to raise funds and it was definitely a success, but I still want to gather some more funds. Looking so forward to swimming for a great cause again! Please support!
