Midmar 2017

Minke Nebe is raising funds for Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife

The 8 Mile event is something that I have dreamt about doing since I swam my first Midmar Mile in 2008. I have always been admiring the 8 Mile club with their dedication to a variety of great causes and charities. I have been swimming all my life but my love for open water swimming started after completing my first mile at the Potchefstroom dam at age 9. I am a swim coach and an animal lover which makes this challenge and cause so much more important to me. As a member of the 8 mile club I will be swimming all 8 events at the Midmar Mile on the 11th and 12th of February 2017. The Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife charity focuses not only on the conservation of our wilderness and nature reserves in KZN but is also fighting a war against the poaching of rhinos. Help me support this awesome charity as they use these funds to ensure that our future generations will be able to view these great and magnificent animals in their natural habitat. I believe by supporting great charities such as this one, we can make a difference in our beautiful country. Please donate and support me in raising funds for this charity
