Cancer has taken many lives and many peoples lives have been affected by cancer. By swimming 8 miles I will honor those who's lives have been taken and those who's life has been changed. I was never diagnosed with cancer, but my life was affected by cancer with the lost of my Grandmother. I will swim this event in Honor of her and all funds raised will be because of her and the fact that she had to fight cancer 3 times. She was and will always be my inspiration to never give up in life.
