Hi Everyone, it’s that time of the year for me to do my part for the environment. I am swimming the 16 mile at the 2020 Midmar Mile for DUCT (Duzi uMngeni Conservation Trust). I swim the 16 mile to make people aware of the situations we are facing ensuring we have clean drinking water in the future. The best way for me to get as many people aware of what DUCT does is by swimming the 16 miles and raising money for them to continue their work. It is also a great privilege to be selected for the 16 Mile at the 2020 aQuelle Midmar Mile during and I would like to raise a minimum amount of R20 000 for DUCT, but ultimately, the more we can raise the better it will be for charities.

The funds raised are distributed as follow:

80% goes to the Duzi uMngeni Conservation Trust (DUCT)

20% goes to the following smaller charities: Special Olympics - Little Eden - Umngeni SPCA - Pietermaritzburg SPCA - SA Guide Dogs - KZN Cystic Fibrosis - Pevensey Place - Thandanani - Society for the Blind & Deaf - Village Safe Haven - Gateway Christian School - iThemba Lethu - SA Legion
