I first Swam 8 Miles in 2004 after Stan Kozlowski and myself decided to form the 8 Mile Club and to date the 8 Mile Club has raised Millions of Rands for various Charities.
The last few years my Charity of Choice has been CHOC and in 2019 the CHOC Swimmers jointly raised R466 330.00 for this very worthwhile Charity.
In 2020 I will be attempting my 41st Consecutive Year of Swimming the aQuelle Midmar Mile as well as #162 Official Miles
