Rene Warnes is raising funds for CHOC

Being a teacher, children are close to my heart and I could not be happier to be stepping up and making this commitment to raise funds for CHOC by swimming the 8 Mile in February 2020.

Getting involved with CHOC this year, through swimming the 8 Mile enables me to combine my passions for swimming and children in support of a worthy cause. CHOC is a non-profit organisation made up of caring, committed and passionate people who stand up for and support the well-being of children and teenagers diagnosed with cancer or life threatening blood disorders and their families.

CHOC aims to save lives through early detection and making the journey of those who are affected by childhood cancer, less burdensome through the comprehensive support programmes they offer. With your support CHOC will be able to increase the number of Children in their care, offer more home away from home for children and their parents/caregivers during treatment and follow up visits, and offer more families psychosocial support.

All sponsors may request a S18A Certificate
