Hello friends and family
Although my name is Gavin, I'd like to be frank - as a very pale male, and for those who say they can see right through me, let me make myself very clear......
I am passionate about very few things, to be honest I can barely get it up these days. One thing that does grab my horn is the sad news that rhino poaching is on the rise, unlike my flailing manhood....
Over the past 4 years I have dedicated much of my own time and vacation days assisting honorary rangers and anti-poaching units, defending our giant, gray horned herbivores. To see these beautiful animals suffer beastly attacks to the edge of extinction leaves me deflated.
Much to the relief of my long suffering girlfriend, I have found a solution that is beneficial to all of us.... by swimming 8 miles I will not only be able to raise funds for Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife - an organisation on the frontline of the fight against rhino poaching - I will also create enough blood flow to have a little horn of my own.
