2020 is upon us, and that means it is time to begin fundraising for my annual 8 mile escapade.

This year will mark my 9th swimming of the event, and nearly all of these have been to raise funds for a charity close to my heart. CHOC is great charity that assists children living with cancer. It also provides support for their families.

I began swimming this event in 2011 shortly after I had finished fighting my battle with this terrible disease, and this is why this Charity is so close to my heart.

I have personally been into these CHOC houses, and seen the work that this charity, and its staff do, under very difficult and emotionally draining situations, and there is no charity I would rather raise the funds for.

Should you feel you are able to contribute, there is no amount too big or too small, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing so.
