After recently completing my 1st Robben Island Crossing, I set out to find a new challange; which would challenge myself and help the community at the same time.
Joining the 8 Mile Club will accomplish both these goals.
My challenge as a 1st time 8 Miler is to raize at least R5000 for the Friends of Swimmer's Trust. Which aspires to give opportunities to all South African's from those just starting out to the elite swimmer representing their country.
Regardless of whether the Midmar Mile is cancelled due to Covid or not, donations will still go to the charity.
