We have been dreaming of taking part in the 8 Mile Swim since we were small laaities - training with the legendary Mrs Swanepoel in the Winterton Country Club pool. We started swimming the Midmar together in 2017 and have completed 22 Midmar Miles between us - never one swimming an event without the other!
We have chosen to raise funds for the Chad le Clos Foundation because we both love swimming and support Chad in his effort to make swimming in all sorts of ways possible for young swimmers. Open water swimming is HUGE FUN!! Please help us support Chad and the Chad le Clos Foundation by donating through this platform - and let us share this FUN!
We also want to mention the support we both get from our schools, coaches and swim clubs - of which we are so proud! (Kennith goes to Bethlehem Voortrekker High School and trains with Bethseals while Tristan goes to Michaelhouse and trains with Penguins PMB when he can get away from water polo!)
