My name is Isabella da costa , I’m 18 years old from durban , this will be my first 8 miles for Midmar,

I have loved swimming ever since I can remember.
And I am grateful that I was fortunately enough to have been able to learn how to swim when I was younger, but it’s is not that easy for most people in South Africa to have the same opportunities, with an average statistics of about  1,500 people drowning each year , I am so glad to be apart for the Chad Le Close foundation which aim is to education people on water safety and swimming survival skills. I couldn’t be more thrilled to use my passion and talent to do something for the good of the community.
