Next Sunday I swim my 50th Midmar Mile ! To make this year's swim extra special I am taking part in the 8 mile Charity Event .
Swimming has been such an important part of my life for so many years and I would like to help others have the opportunity that I have had to learn to swim in a safe environment and help to prevent the many unnecessary drownings that happen in our country .
Chad Le Clos is one of our National heroes and much admired in the swimming world. He has done so much to inspire and encourage our young swimmers . He deserves all our support .
So family and friends , Rands ,Pounds or Dollars, will all help towards a really good cause .
