Honored and thankful to be accepted into the Midmar 8 Mile Club, I believe that as a hard working, hard playing, hard training, normal friendly guy, I can and must try to make a difference.

I hate cruelty of any kind and can't just sit back and watch all the bad things happening to our precious and beautiful, yet fragile nature and wildlife.

Blessed with all sorts of endurance sport events in the bag, from many Ironman and other extreme triathlons to mountain bike stage races, I take on this new challenge to give something back.

The plan is to swim all the events at the Midmar Mile 2018 weekend, one after the other for a total of 8 miles (12.8 km). My wish with this is to create awareness and raise funds for the Ezemvelo Wildlife conservation projects.

Kindly support me in my mission to try and help preserve. Take note that I will personally ensure that all the funds are used with respect and applied where it matters.
