In 2018 I shall be a Grade 10 scholar at St Mary's DSG Pretoria. Traditionally St Mary's DSG runs a Debutante Charity Programme for all Gr 10 scholars to raise money for selected charities through a variety of innovative schemes as well as being involved on a personal level with the charities. I have completed the Midmar mile 12 times and believe that through my swimming ability and many hours I have spent in the pool training, I will be able to raise funds by completing the grueling Midmar 8 Mile. I feel ready for a new challenge and want to do something more meaningful with my sport.
I am truly honoured that I will be swimming for CANSA , the non-profit organisation that enables research, educates the public and provides support to all people affected by cancer. I would appreciate it if you could in your personal/company/family capacity support my effort to raise funds for this very worthwhile Charity by pledging a donation.
I thank you in anticipation for your generous contribution and am certain that this will be a very rewarding experience for everyone concerned.
