I am swimming the aQuelle 8 mile for the first time in February 2018 - and aspire for the 16 Mile in 2019... I have many reasons, my first for my sisters, Jenny & Lorryn who have Cystic Fibrosis, for my Godson Timothy Finaughty who was born with Juvenile leukemia, Belinda who lost the love of her life Richard to Colon Cancer, Carol Anne from school who is still a champ and still fighting cancer.... and then to someone very close to my heart, Natey who drowned in December 2016, a true angel taken too soon - you couldn't swim but I will for YOU. So there are MANY reasons for my swim, it means SO much.
Please help me make a difference for all those suffering from the evil named Cancer and for future research to eliminate it!
