I'll be swimming all 8 Miles at Midmar in 2018 and need to raise at least another R5 000 for Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife, which will go towards Rhino conservation. Here is why I doing this and why should you support me:

Fact: 1,054 rhinos were killed in South Africa alone during 2016, which works out nearly three rhinos being killed every day.

Fact: 2011 saw the declaration of extinction of the Western Black Rhino.

Fact: Overall, there are just about 30,000 rhinos left in the wild in the entire world.

I'd like the generations to come to be able to see these magnificent creatures and know what a Rhino is and I believe it is within all of us to make a difference in the world, no matter how small.
