I am so excited to be swimming my first 8 mile (that's 12.8kms) and swimming to raise funds for CHOC - Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa
I am a passionate swimming teacher and love children. So helping children in need is very close to my heart.
I will be swimming all 8 events of the Midmar Mile (The biggest open water event in the world!), in Feb, and its happening right here in our hometown - Howick!
Every bit helps towards me reaching my fundraising goal, and hopefully exceeding it, so please dig deep for this very worthy cause.

Earlier this year I was privileged enough to meet the record-breaking Ultra Extreme Open Water and Ice Swimming Champion. He really inspired me with his talk. The very next day I put my name down on the waiting list to swim 8 mile.
