I work as a Paediatrician at Olivedale Clinic. I see how cancer and serious blood disorders affect the lives of children and their families. Treatment courses are often long and uncomfortable. There may be difficulties for families to be close to a treatment centre, and CHOC helps to provide accommodation. CHOC also steps in where there are shortfalls in providing the correct treatment and equipment. CHOC creates awareness of the early warning signs of childhood cancer. I love to swim, and to assist this amazing organization by swimming is a great privilege. 2019 will be my 8th year at Midmar. Thank you for supporting CHOC.
