Some may say that I'm crazy to be swimming 8 miles (12.5km) in two days, truth be told, I am. Although it might be difficult in some eyes, in my eyes it's for the world of good. Raising money for an amazing charity for children fighting cancer to be able to try and live a happy childhood.

I love swimming and helping others so what better way is there to do both things I love other than swimming for a noble cause. This will be my 3rd year swimming for CHOC.

I've seen two very close family member suffer with this awful disease and I've seen how much strain cancer can cause a person. This is one of the main reasons why I want to do this 8 mile swim. Knowing how many people suffer with cancer I want to try and make a difference in the life of an innocent soul.
