This year I have decided to take on the challenge of swimming the Midmar Mile. This is a huge challenge for me but I am so excited to do it both as a personal challenge & bucket list item as well as an opportunity to raise funds for a charity that resonates with my career & life choices.
Singakwenza is a NGO that strives for building the same principles as I do. Being an Early Childhood educator myself, I see the value that Singakwenza is bringing to our country and those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Singakwenza strives to build our future as country through the teaching, training and guiding of ECD teachers across Southern Africa, empowering them to bring about change in our future generations.
Another aspect of Singakwenza which is a valuable investment is their Waste-2-Toys program which encourages the use of recycled materials to make toys for the Crèches they support. With just a pair or scissors, a black marker pen & a few discarded milk bottles, you have a number of toys that not only help to develop & encourage the development of children but also provides the children with much needed fun! Isn’t growing up about exploring & playing? Singakwenza works towards just that.
Will you partner with me as I use my Midmar Mile to raise funds for Singakwenza. Singakwenza means we can do it in IsiZulu - so we can do it! It’s as simple as pressing a few buttons below.
