In 2012 I swam my first Midmar Mile at the age of 9 years old. Ever since, every year I look forward to swimming the Midmar Mile because it is one of my highlights for swimming of the year. Now being 16 years old, I have an opportunity to swim this dream race doing the 8 miler to raise funds for The Friends of Swimmers Trust.
