Here I go again!!
So when the email landed in my inbox inviting me to participate in the 2018 8 Mile Club ... I have to admit, I hesitated at first. Slept on it, debated, then threw caution to the wind & committed.
This time round my hesitation wasn't based on would I be able to finish or rather been there done that, it was rather from overwhelming success in raising the funds in 2017. But then I remembered the camaraderie of the 2 days, the people I met and the new friendships formed - not forgetting the MASSIVE difference I made with the help of some amazing friends & family raising over R28 000 for Ezemvelo Wildlife, supporting their cause : Save the Rhino.
I'm thrilled to be participating again in 2018; back to back 8 Mile Club and my fears of not raising the funds will as always be the least of my worries. This year's strategy is 100 x 100 : 100 donations of R100.
